    Columbia State Announces Spring 2017 Commencement Ceremonies And Speakers

    For the first time in the college’s 51-year history, Columbia State Community College will celebrate its spring 2017 commencement with two ceremonies on May 6 in the Webster Athletic Center. The first ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and will feature student speaker, Caitlyn McNabb, and the second will begin at 2 p.m. and will feature student speaker, Destiny Seaton.

    More than 300 high school students recently participated in Columbia State Community College’s annual High School Competition when students from 17 southern Middle Tennessee high schools competed in 18 different academic areas, including creative writing, vocal performance, algebra and sociology.

    PAG Art Gallery To Host Maury County Elementary, Middle and High School Art Exhibit

    Columbia State Community College’s Pryor Art Gallery will feature the artwork of Maury County elementary, middle and high school students. The middle and high school exhibit is April 5 through April 20 - artists’ reception will take place in the gallery April 6 from 5 – 8 p.m. The elementary exhibit is April 26 - May 10 - artists' reception will take place in the gallery April 26 from 5 - 8 p.m.
