    Pryor Art Gallery Announces Painted Lyric Exhibit

    Columbia State Community College’s Pryor Art Gallery will host the “Painted Lyric” exhibit Feb. 16 – March 15. The exhibit illustrates how two musicians, Marc Potocsky and Ray Stephenson, cross over to be visual artists. A musical artist’s reception Feb. 16 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. will feature award-winning musical artists, Ray Stephenson, Billy Falcon and Dan Shafer playing throughout the evening.

    Columbia State Community College welcomes Austin Peay State University student, Andrew Daunais, to the Cherry Theater Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. for a classical vocal recital.

  • Columbia State to Host Miles for Maddie, Lungs of Steel 5k

    Columbia State to Host Miles for Maddie, Lungs of Steel 5k

    Columbia State Community College’s Respiratory Care Club, in collaboration with Maury County Parks and Recreation, will host their 10th Annual Lungs of Steel 5k Run/Walk on March 10. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to benefit Maddie Wright, a 9-year-old Cystic Fibrosis patient.

    The 5k run/walk will take place at Maury County Park in Columbia.

    Members of the Columbia State Community College Student Government Association and the President’s Leadership Society attended the 48th General Assembly of the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature Nov. 16-19 at the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville.
